Solipsistic Pop and Paper Science gossip

You know what this is? It’s a virtual version of the poster and re-stickable stickers that I made for Solipsistic Pop 3 last year. You can drag those characters into the landscape if you like. It’s definitely more fun with the real stickers though so order Solipsistic Pop 3 here for the real thing. I made that quite a while ago now but I remembered it because the line-up and theme Solipsistic Pop 4 has been revealed.

Here’s another anthology related thing…

It’s a panel from the four page comic I’ve done for Paper Science 5 – The Music Special. You can see the first page in full here on Flickr. It’s a combination of drawing and collage. I recommend pre-ordering Paper Science 5 so you can read the whole thing.

I think I’ll probably have some more anthology related news and general gossip for you soon so watch out for it!

Book update

Look at this! My books have arrived. If you’ve pre-ordered it from me, then I’ll be sending your copy to you next week. Exciting. But first I’ve got to sign them all.

If you haven’t pre-ordered it, and you don’t want to miss out on the special hand-made pre-order mini-comic, then don’t worry because you can still get that up until Friday. (But on Saturday I’ll be changing it to normal orders and I won’t be making any more of those mini-comics. not ever!).

Here’s where you can order the book.

TCAF

I’m going to be at TCAF this weekend. This is what my table will look like. Actually no it won’t because my tablecloth isn’t pink, it’s yellow. Also I haven’t made a mini-diorama to go in the diorama. I wish I had! There’s no time now though I’m flying to Toronto tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately I’m not going to have copies of my new book there to sell, but I will have a sample copy to browse and you can pre-order it from me and get your Cardboard King mini comic in person (or just pre-order it from the website which you can do whether you’re coming to TCAF or not).

That’s where I’ll be, on the second floor. Plus I’ll be on a panel on Sunday morning. “Her Majesty’s Comics” at 11.15 in the Learning Centre. More information here.

Pre order the My Cardboard Life book!

I finally finished my book. It’s a collection of all the best comics from the first two years of My Cardboard Life, plus a bunch of bonus pages. This is what it looks like on the inside…

Nice. The books are on their way to me right now, I’ll have them by the end of May to sign and send out to pre-orderers. I’ve also made an extra gift to go with it…

It’s a hand-made mini-comic! “The Cardboard King”. You’ve got to pre-order to get it.

I’m pretty excited about the whole thing, been working on this book for ages! You can pre-order it here.

Dress up Lulu

Hey look it’s Colin’s imaginary grown-up puppy’s girlfriend Lulu. Lulu is a real fashionista, she needs a stylist with an eye for the current trends. Or you could make her look like a big dork if you like. No one’s gonna stop you.

If you’d like to take a screen-grab of your favourite outfit and post a link to it here, I would enjoy that!
