    I like how the first comic in the story depicted the joy of finding berries converting to abject horror, and then the horror progressed to this. Turns out the hatching scene was some sort of metaphor for post-natal depression!

    Has there been a previous “they grow up so fast” joke in My Cardboard Life? I have a feeling I’ve seen it here before in a similar context.
