Awww and this is why I hang on to random bits of stuff and every Allan key I get from furniture. Also, yay for a Canadian penny! I imagine the penny would now lament that we’ll no longer be using it starting later this year.
I also thought “yay Canadian penny!”
And then, “Oh IKEA, why do you include an allan key with EVERYTHING?” Next we know, they’ll include them with the hot dog & ice cream at the end of your shopping trip…
AWESOME! This is a superobscure reference, but there’s this rice cracker company in Japan that publishes a mini story about an unappreciated object (like the paper straw packaging, bits of parsley on the side of a dish, white crayon) on the back of each package. But yes. This one really reminds me of them. Yeah, obscure, I know, but I’m Japanese.

Don’t worry, Googly Eye, all we need is one more of you and then we can slap you on some random product on the store shelves!

I’ve been learning Japanese but I don’t know enough to read this page T.T
Well, putting straws in individual packaging is kinda wasteful, so no, I don’t particularly appreciate that object at all.
I love white crayons! They’re great for egg-dying!
I have a whole toolbox compartment of allen wrenches. I knew I was keeping them for a reason.
These are all so sad! ):
poor little eye…
The string one was the one that really got to me.
