Huh, Pauline’s severed head looks a bit like a Boo. Even in Pizza form.

I have always wondered about the blue plasters chefs wear! Is it so that IF they fall off, they can be easily spotted in the soup/sauce/chocolate mousse?

Katherine, having worked in catering and food production (great job title, eh?), the blue plasters are also waterproof, unlike the cloth plasters. This is to stop things getting into a cut or graze, but also primarily to stop things getting out, such as blood, pus, bile, guts, lungs, etc (depending on the severity of the cut, of course).

And they’re so much easier to find if you drop them in the soup!

Pauline, Colin’s trying to compliment you! *Turns to Colin* It’s okay… Pauline didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.
