aww, pauline’s such a downer
You altered my idea and used it in a new comic?
You sly devil, Philippa.
PS: No comic is safe from reversification.
I want you to meet Sociopath Colin and Overly-Caring Phillipa. You’ll be seeing them for a long time.
You’ve saved the day! (Or the month, as it were.) January is a bit glum, though.
I think you mean Overly-caring PAULINE not Phillipa XD
If there was an edit button I would utilize it.
Unfortunately, there isn’t. And I post things after drinking.
But I love January. To be precise – I love January when/where it’s summer and summer holidays and everyone’s relaxed and half the workers are on holidays anyway and everyone else is taking it a little easier and catching up with things and the weather varies between pleasant and stinking hot. So really the problem is not January itself but merely WHERE YOU ARE in January.
Not for me. I work in a hot factory where most of the workers are not on holiday and all I can think every summer weekday outside of the two weeks around Christmas and New Year is “screw you January. Screw you to hell.”
“… and also November and December, but mainly January” I sometimes add sheepishly.
You have my sympathy. But still it means that how you feel about that month depends on where you are for it.
Well… of course it does. Regardless, they’re English.
its summer on january if you’re on brazil.
I like it! Very good with the background colour changes and the link between content/scale in p4! Very– AUGH CRITICAL ANALYSIS GET OUT OF MY BRAIN
finally caught up~~
Pauline is to Colin as Lucy is to Charlie Brown.
Luckily January will be over soon.
But really, nothing Pauline mentions is unique to January. January isn’t the only month when it rains (actually, where I live, there’s never rain in January, only snow). It’s also not the only month when animals die from human activity, and if your accomplishments are worthless and futile, they’re not any more futile in January than any other time.
But perhaps January is the time when Pauline is most likely to remind Colin of these sad thoughts. It seems her reaction to seasonal affective disorder is to try and attract company for her misery…
January is a sad month. It’s my least favorite month. Nearly everything awful happens in January! And this January is the absolute worse. I can’t wait for it to be February. -.-
January is like a load of laundry right out of the wash–it’s fresh and clean, but cold and wet. Pop it in the dryer, already!
O>o hmmm i never thought that jan. was a glum month, maybe october o>O
Don’t be sad Colin! Just because miss-frowny-pants is looking for company doesn’t mean you have to stay for tea!
February is worse. Last February I crashed my car, there were like 5 blizzards leaving me off work, I had to put my favorite rat to sleep, my grandma broke her leg, my dad pulled out his back, and I sank into deep deep depression. February is full of bad memories. Plus it’s a constant reminder that winter is STILL HERE and Christmas is two months past.
March is pretty okay. April is awesome.
march is my favorite month its my birthday month!
LOVE the color changing for his mood <–Is proud she noticed it
Pauline must have stock in the company that makes Zoloft
I quite enjoy January, below the equator January means SUMMER!!
Way to be a major downer, Pauline. But no, I totally agree haha. <3
reverse psychology had a reverse effect? o.o
Aww, I like January, it’s my birthday month
