Dessert
Do you think that cake looks nice anyway? Bannana slices, cherries and raspberries with chocolate cake sounds like a wrongun’ in my book. I don’t really approve of fruit with chocolate. Apart from chocolate orange maybe. But that’s just me, what would your dream dessert consist of?
You might have noticed that I’ve updated on a Tuesday (normally it’s supposed to be just Monday, Wednesday and Friday) well this week I thought I’d do a new update every weekday for a change. So come back every day this week for some more card and paper action.
You don’t approve of fruit with chocolate?! What about fondues and the like? But, well, you like orange chocolate, which I absolutely love despite the fact that they use dark chocolate for that (I hate dark chocolate).
Anyway, that cake does look pretty nice for a paper/cardboard/paint/felt-tip pen cake.
I can appreciate a fondue, but usually with marshmallows not fruit. Might explain why I’ve got scurvy.
If they eat that, wouldn’t that make them cannibals? o__O
I was worried about that, but then I thought maybe it’s like how some people eat meat, but we’re also made of meat ourselves. (I’m just scrabbling for excuses here)
So does that mean that the only thing that dictates taste in Colin’s world is how it looks? I can’t imagine that Pauline would have enjoyed that dessert if it were just a crumpled piece of carbon paper. How far does this correlation go? Is Colin so frequently miserable because his personality is determined by the fact that he’s comprised of two cardboard rectangles? If he were to paint himself with polka dots and zig-zags would he be a more interesting Colin that cool people want to hang around? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!
I retract my previous statement upon the realization that Pauline did not, in fact, ingest any of Colin’s dessert and was, instead, drooling in anticipation of devouring it.
Soooo cute! And I’m glad to visit your site every day this week, i love Colin!! xoxox!
That is some fancy lookin’ cake, I’d have some of that!
I had the best creme brulee in the world a few weeks ago when we went out for a birthday supper. After that, my fave is homemade chocolate mousse!
Chocolate mousse! Good choice. Creme brulee is a risky dessert, because it can be so nice, but if the topping is too thick it’s horrible on the teeth.
This comic is genius. Please can you write about Colin’s sisters and brothers? (He is an Uncle, isn’t he?)
Twoey from Toronto
I will do, some time soon! Actually I was planning on doing a “Colin’s Family Tree” at some point so you can all see where Colin gets his good looks from.
hahha i dont like fruit with chocolate either. ;P
I just don’t like fruit at all. My sense of smell is too strong so I can’t get anywhere near fruit – it all just stinks. It’s the same with coffee too. I have to leave the room if anyone’s drinking it.
dun u hate it when omg the cheesecake looks awesome and then u get completely oversugared.
well thats actually quite true…
Haha this one came out on my birthday! How appropriate!
lol growing pains
woops i meant colouring pains
