Curious. The polar bear seems upset about being asked how he made them, but why? Does having Colin automatically see them as artificial make him feel like a failure? Does it somehow invalidate the gift? Or does simply being reminded of Pauline’s complaint get him all riled up?

Colin always has such bad luck. The background never complained when Polar Bear tore pieces out of it.
