I realise this isn’t exactly a comic, but this is the plan: Since I ended the guest week on a Wednesday, I thought I’d have this non-comic item today, and then have an actual comic tomorrow (the concluding part to the 300th comic party strip) and then resume normal comic updates on Monday. You see! It’s quite logical.
Now let me tell you a couple of things about this family tree: I haven’t put all of Colin’s nieces and nephews in there, because there’s an endless supply of them. That’s also why they don’t have names. Colin’s grandparents have not appeared before. They might come back. I don’t think Ted Wood will come back though because to make him I had to cut up some wood with a saw, and sawdust went all over my dress and into my cup of tea. I drank the tea anyway; waste not want not.

Janet doesn’t have a husband? How does she keep having so many kids then??
Perhaps they’re adopted? Or maybe Janet’s not actually married and each child has a different daddy? Ooooo, scandalous.

I’ll be sad if we never see Ted Wood again. He looks like a real solid guy; a square shooter who’ll always give you the unvarnished truth. I also like his expression of gentle patience, like he’s always ready to listen (even though, let’s face it, he’s a little board).

so theres been comics with colin’s mum and separetly with his dad….. when i read a comic with his mum i forget carl… when i read a comic with carl i forget his mum…….. noticeable? i was expecting pauline and polar bear (not to mention spoon!) in this comic for some strange reason…..

I have just been looking through all the guest comics for the guest comic week. They were all so good! It’s great to see so many cardboard colin fans out there giving it some cardboard colin love.
Aaaanyway, I am looking forward to the next 300 strips to keep me entertained! Also, I love how the grandparents in the family trees genes have mixed together to form Collins parents and aunt, like paper + wood = cardboard, sponge + gingham = j cloth!!
Oh – a J-cloth! I was a bit puzzled by the genes.

when reading a random comic (http://mycardboardlife.com/2009/01/28/hourly-comics-day/), i noticed that colin’s mum and sis are different from what is show on the family tree!
they changed clothes?

crumple+wood= …im assuming its cardboard cause thats also in colins name
gingham+sponge= cloth and sponge
cloth+cardboard= cardboard and no last name
and Tim took his mothers name
… just sayin
